Teeth & Hair is a wonderful illustration project exploring hair ornaments from Eirian Chapman.

These would fit right into my Art Deco sci-fi fantasy world. Just imagine these made of bakelite! Super cool.

Nice work from Till Hafenbrak. I especially like the green fox.

I just love Stacey Rozich’s illustration work! It’s really bold but delicate and otherworldly. Freakin A!
Her work is currently being animated in a short film/music video for The Fleet Foxes. There is a preview available at her blog. I can’t wait to see the finished video!

My boyfriend bought me this print of Autum in New York by Matte Stephens for my birthday and it’s hanging above my desk! Matte has a great design collection and some nice pictures of his living room posted on his flickr.

These illustrations are by Ben Newman from the Bento Bestiary. Above is Mr Fish Dude aka. Dateotoko Fishu San, and below is Umibozu. The book is available from Nobrow.

Uwe Heidschötter captures so much in her quick ink sketches. I like! See more here.

I’m a big fan of Ping Zhu’s style. I love how she uses the texture of each brush stroke to create form. Check out her blog for more work.

I am really enjoying Delilah Dirk and the Turkish Lieutentant by Tony Cliff. It updates on Saturdays, and since I’m a little hazy on the time difference I pretty much just keep clicking refresh throughout my weekend in hope that the next installment will be there. I would be all over this in printed form so I hope it happens!
Adding to my love for this comic are the vintage-travel-poster-inspired promotional postcards! Sweet.
